What is WASS?

History and Purpose

The Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services (WASS) was founded in 1971 as a legislative watchdog for the staffing industry.  Over the past several decades, WASS has fought and won battles on many major issues that could have been detrimental to our businesses.  WASS remains alert for adverse legislation so that the staffing industry can continue to operate in a regulation-free environment in Wisconsin.

WASS conducts informational training sessions on such topics as sales, recruiting, unemployment and other subjects of interest to our members.  We provide networking opportunities and a link to national issues through our affiliation with the American Staffing Association (ASA).

Our Members

WASS is made up of both national temporary help companies and local independents.  Our direction is guided by our members, and the issues of all member companies are considered.  WASS is your organization.
