Benefits of Membership

A Legislative Voice

WASS maintains a continuous alert for problematic legislation so our members can continue to respond to issues that would have a negative impact on the staffing industry. In today’s marketplace, staffing companies are working together more closely than ever to be the voice of the staffing industry in Wisconsin. We have recently made great strides with the Department of Revenue with regard to the issue of taxing temporary staffing services. Without making any concessions, we were able to persuade the DOR to publish further clarification on their interpretation of the tax code. We believe these clarifications work strongly in our favor! Please watch for upcoming announcements.

Regular Meetings and Professional Development

Experienced leaders in the staffing industry offer educational and motivational programs on a variety of topics of interest to our member companies. Join your colleagues for a wonderful night of fun and celebration at the Annual National Staffing Employee Week Dinner and Recognition Program scheduled for September. We offer two member seminars – one in spring and one in fall.

Networking

In this age of single-source suppliers, WASS offers a unique opportunity to learn from and perhaps do business with peers in the industry.
