NSEW Awards Dinner & Celebration

Dinner event registration will open early Summer 2026. 

National Staffing Employee Week (NSEW) celebrates the contributions of the millions of individuals employed by U.S. staffing firms each week. The American Staffing Association sets the date annually and it usually takes place the 3rd week in September. During this special week, staffing firms from across the nation honor their greatest asset: their temporary and contract employees.

The Wisconsin Association of Staffing Services (WASS) hosts an annual NSEW Celebration & Awards event. This event not only increases awareness about the positive impact of the staffing industry, but also provides you – our staffing members – an opportunity to recognize your top talent. The awards and recognition, coupled with the unique in-person celebration, provides a public platform for which you can honor and celebrate those Everyday Heroes that make you want to go to work everyday.

Nominate your TOP EMPLOYEES TODAY! It’s simple…

1. Submit a short nomination form (names and positions) for each of your temporary or contract employees – your Super Stars – that you’d like to have formally recognized. Nominees will receive certificates, gift bags and be formally recognized at the award ceremony.
2. Forward the nomination link and encourage all of your branch locations to participate.
3. Most important…every staffing firm selects ONE of these employees to be considered for their top choice! Nominators will be asked to answer 3 to 4 questions providing a bit of background on your candidate. Your top-choice candidate will be submitted to a judging panel comprised of industry professionals not affiliated with a staffing agency. The judges will review the written submissions and will select the top nominee for the Wisconsin Staffing Employee of the Year 2026. The Wisconsin Staffing Employee of the Year will be announced at the dinner celebration taking place in September, during National Staffing Employee Week.

Note: In addition, the nominators are required to submit a short 1 to 3 minute Zoom video for their Super Star nominee. The judges do not see the video and videos are not part of the judging process. Additionally, the Nomination Forms are scrubbed of identifiers such as staffing firm name, client names, etc. to ensure an unbiased judging process. The videos are shown at the NSEW Dinner & Awards Celebration and on social media following the announcement of the winner.
